Alpha Olefin C14
Product description and Properties
Linear alpha-olefins (LAOs) are a type of olefin with the molecular formula CxH2x, characterized by a double bond located at the alpha (primary) carbon atom.
Product Applications
LAO C14, known chemically as 1-tetradecene (C14H28), is widely used in producing synthetic lubricants, surfactants, detergents, viscosity modifiers, personal care products, and chemical intermediates. It is also applied in paper sizing processes.
