Sodium Alpha-Olefin Sulfonate(AOS 92/35)
Product Performance
Alpha-Olefin Sulfonate (AOS) is a new type of anionic surfactant produced through the gas-phase sulfonation of alpha-olefin followed by continuous neutralization. It offers excellent emulsifying, decontaminating, and calcium soap dispersing properties. Among its advantages are good solvency and compatibility, rich and fine foam, easy biodegradability, low toxicity, and minimal skin irritation.
Product Application
AOS is particularly beneficial in phosphate-free detergents, where it not only provides excellent washing performance but also works well with enzyme agents. The powdered (granular) form of AOS exhibits good fluidity, making it suitable for a wide range of household cleaning products, including phosphate-free detergents and liquid detergents. Additionally, it finds applications in the textile printing and dyeing industry, as well as in petrochemical and industrial hard surface cleaning.
